The Process
I love getting to know each couple, and it all starts with a no-obligation chat. This is your chance to see if I’m the right celebrant for you, ask any questions, and share what you’re looking for in your ceremony.
Excited to have me as your celebrant? Hurray! We’ll confirm the date, sort the deposit, and book our first proper meeting. This can be in person—at your place, mine, a cozy pub, a café—wherever you feel most comfortable. We’ll chat about who you are as individuals and as a couple, your love story, inside jokes, and what makes your relationship so special. I’ll also learn about the elements you’d love to include in your ceremony and the kind of atmosphere you want to create.
6 to 4 months before the big day, I’ll send you a questionnaire with some extra questions about your journey together. Your answers help shape a ceremony that truly reflects you.
Then, with a cup of tea and a tube of Pringles in hand, I’ll weave everything together into a beautifully written ceremony. I’ll share your love story the way I plan to tell it, and if you want to add or change anything, just let me know—this is your ceremony, and making it perfect for you is my priority.
One week before the ceremony, we’ll have a final check-in, either in person or over a call. If you'd like, we can rehearse any parts to make sure you feel completely comfortable and excited for the day.
On your ceremony day, I’ll arrive at least an hour early to ensure everything is set up and ready to go. All you need to do is enjoy the moment… and say yes!
As a special keepsake, I’ll send you a printed copy of your ceremony so you can treasure the words and memories forever.
